Dr. W. Alan Shelby serves as Dean and Faculty Professor of Philosophy, Theology, and History at Living Faith Bible Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, and as lead pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in Blue Springs, Missouri. With decades of pastoral experience, he brings together academic leadership, theological instruction, and local church ministry in the preparation of pastors, teachers, and ministry leaders. His teaching encompasses systematic and dispensational theology, apologetics, church and Baptist history, and the preservation and transmission of Scripture. Working within a Baptist, dispensational, and premillennial framework, Shelby emphasizes the relationship between careful biblical interpretation, coherent doctrine, and practical discipleship. His ministry reflects a sustained commitment to expository preaching and to theological education that strengthens both the understanding and service of the church.
