Acts of the Apostles

Description

The Book of Acts marks the historical beginning of the Great Commission. This book presents the progressive transfer of the personal ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ to the Body of Christ through the indwelling Holy Spirit. The prophetic promise of the kingdom to the Jews is postponed as the Church begins to take the gospel to the Gentile world. The book of Acts functions as a bridge which covers the period between the Gospels and the Epistles.

A systematic study of this transitional book includes terms, doctrines, dispensational truths, and a chronological progression of events.
