James Fyffe — Missiology

James Fyffe serves as Faculty Professor of Missiology at Living Faith Bible Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, and as a nursing faculty member at Rockhurst University, bringing together theological education, cross-cultural ministry, and healthcare instruction. He also serves in pastoral ministry at Midtown Baptist Temple. His international experience includes missionary service in El Salvador and Pakistan, where he worked as a nurse manager and instructor at Bach Christian Hospital in Abbottabad. This background informs his preparation of students for cross-cultural service, connecting biblical principles of missions with the practical demands of serving individuals and communities in diverse settings. At LFBI, his work includes missions instruction and the supervision of student research in missiology. A regular contributor to The Postscript, Fyffe also examines missionary history and biography, drawing attention to the convictions, sacrifices, and ministry practices of Christians who carried the gospel across cultural boundaries. Across his academic and pastoral roles, he emphasizes biblical faithfulness, compassionate service, and the preparation of believers for the church’s global mission.
