Jonathan Kindler — Biblical Counseling
Jonathan Kindler serves as Faculty Professor of Biblical Counseling and Spiritual Formation at Living Faith Bible Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, where he helps shape the counseling curriculum and equips students for the care of individuals and families within the local church. He also serves as an associate pastor at Midtown Baptist Temple and is the founder of Sound Mind Counseling. A Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, Kindler brings more than a decade of counseling experience to his work with anxiety, trauma, grief, relational difficulties, and spiritual formation. His teaching emphasizes the sufficiency of Scripture and the thoughtful application of biblical truth to the mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational challenges of life. He is co-author of A Path Well Lit, which presents a theological framework for the care of souls, and host of the Sound Mind podcast, where he explores emotional health and Christian discipleship through biblical reflection and counseling insight. Across his teaching, writing, and pastoral ministry, Kindler seeks to equip believers to care for others with theological clarity, compassion, and practical wisdom.
