FOUNDATIONS // 2 credit hours // Foundations 1 is a required introductory course that teaches core biblical doctrines and a philosophy of discipleship foundational to ministry.
FOUNDATIONS // 2 credit hours // This semester of Foundations will cover the Character & Spiritual Qualities of a Man or Woman of God and the Seven Stages of Spiritual Growth. This course is an introductory course for all LFBI students.
FOUNDATIONS // 2 credit hours // This course will cover the Philosophy of Discipleship, How to Disciple, and How to Study the Bible. It serves as an introductory course for all LFBI students.
FOUNDATIONS // 1 credit hour // This course is intended to help incoming students become familiar with the Living Faith Bible Institute, its philosophy, methodology, and student expectations.
BIBLE ESSENTIALS // 1 credit hour // This course is designed to equip students to boldly prove biblical Christianity within a secular world while exemplifying a gentle and kind spirit as found in Matthew 10:16.
BIBLE ESSENTIALS // 2 credit hours // An introduction to the fundamental concepts of correct Bible study, focusing on established and time-honored rules of Bible study, the proper use of basic Bible study tools, and an understanding of the theme of the Bible.
BIBLE ESSENTIALS // 2 credit hours // Introduction to New Testament 1 is an overview of Matthew through 2 Thessalonians. Topics include the historical context, life application, pictures, types, prophecies, key features and dispensational truth.
BIBLE ESSENTIALS // 2 credit hours // The Introduction to the Bible series is a survey that focuses on the history and writings of both the Old and New Testaments of God’s Word. This course focuses on the books Genesis through Job.
BIBLE ESSENTIALS // 2 credit hours // This course is an expositional study of the first book of the New Testament with attention paid to the doctrinal application primarily alongside some historical and personal life application.
LEADERSHIP PREP // 2 credit hours // This course will give students an understanding of the sufficiency of Scripture to help people with their mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational problems. Students will see how God's Word transcends modern therapeutic, psychological, and psychiatric approaches.
LEADERSHIP PREP // 2 CREDIT // This course focuses on the preparation and delivery of biblical sermons, studies, and lessons. The student will learn an exegetical and expositional approach to preaching and further develop a biblical hermeneutic.
LEADERSHIP PREP // 2 credit hours // This course establishes God's mission as the root cause of our existence and the essence of our life purpose. Key issues and terms are biblically defined, and the personal missionary responsibility of the New Testament believer is addressed.
LEADERSHIP PREP // 2 credit hours // This class is an intensive study of the epistles of Paul the apostle to pastors. This course is an exposition of 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy and Titus as God’s handbook for pastors. The content and themes therein are developed exegetically and expositorily with an emphasis on the responsibilities of pastoral leaders in the church.
ELECTIVES // 3 credit hours // The Biblical Counseling Capstone is an advisor guided, independent study and research-based course. The student will write a 20–25-page essay based on a relevant subject within the theological and ministry realm of biblical counseling.
ELECTIVES // 1 credit hour // This course presents students with a series of lectures and reading assignments that address acute relational issues (interpersonal, familial and marital). It also provides students with role-playing counseling exercises intended to build confidence and strengthen biblical counseling methods.
ELECTIVES // 2 credit hours // This course will cover children’s ministry in the local church. Students will learn about children’s ministry and initiating, developing, and overseeing these ministries.
ELECTIVES // 1 credit hour // In this course we will be introducing students to the processes and heart posture associated with preparing and presenting a sermon.
ELECTIVES // 1 credit hour // This study will focus on the miracles and works of Moses and Elisha as types of the New Testament minister and as an instruction manual for those seeking to lead others in the body of Christ.
ELECTIVES // 1 credit hour // This course is an expository survey of the twelve books that end the Old Testament called the Minor Prophets. We will unpack their major truths in historical, dispensational and practical perspectives. Primary attention will be given to their practical message for the church and contemporary issues.
ELECTIVES // 3 credit hours // The Missions Capstone is an advisor-guided, independent study and research-based course. The student will write a 20–25-page essay based on a relevant subject within the theological and ministerial realm of missiology.
LEADERSHIP PREP // 2 credit hours // The objective of this required course is for the student to develop and execute a ministry task, project, or program that will serve their local church.
LEADERSHIP PREP // 0 credit hours // This course provides students with a feedback and reporting mechanism that should include some, if not all, of the following elements: a summary of their mission trip, evangelical components and opportunities, local church support and edification, and training and teaching opportunities.

FUNDACIONES // 2 credito horas // Fundaciones 2 va a cubrir el Carácter Espiritual de un Hombre y una Mujer de Dios y las Siete Etapas de un Crecimiento Espiritual. Este curso es una introducción a todos los cursos del instituto LFBI para los estudiantes.
FUNDACIONES // 2 credito horas // Fundaciones 3 es un curso de equipamiento para lideres desarrollado por el Instituto Bíblico Living Faith. Los temas para este semestre son: La Filosofía del Discipulado, Como Discipular, Las Reglas del Estudio Bíblico, y Contradicciones Aparentes en la Biblia.
PREPARACIÓN DE LIDERAZGO // 2 credito horas // Este curso es un estudio expositivo de la Vida de Jesucristo. En este estudio nos vamos a enfocar en la narrativa de la vida de Cristo, Su Palabra, y Sus obras como ejemplo para el ministerio del ministro Nuevo Testamentario. De esta forma, los Evangelios se van a convertir en un manual de instrucción para todos aquellos que busquen liderar a otros en el Cuerpo de Cristo.
