The Gospel of Matthew

Description

This course is an expositional study of the first book of the New Testament, with attention paid to the doctrinal application primarily alongside some historical and personal life application. The study will include some comparison with the other “synoptic” gospels (Mark and Luke) along with the gospel of John as well when certain passages in Matthew require an understanding of the “harmony of the gospels.” The main doctrinal focus will be on the King of the Jews (the life of Jesus Christ), and the Kingdom of Heaven (his millennial reign).

SUMMER SELF-PACE ONLINE: Student learning will be self-guided. Each lecture and quiz taken unlocks the next lecture and quiz. This allows the student to pace themselves through the content between the dates associated with the course. All major projects and assignments can be submitted at any time between the dates of the course. All assignments have a hard end date of August 3rd @ 11:59 pm CST.
